When looking for a new herdsire, we knew we wanted performance, chest depth, thick rear end, and straight top line. The buck we chose would have to be parasite resistant and would have height and length. We found this buck in Iowa, at Paradise Farms. After looking at serveral bucks, we chose VAR CELSIUS. He is our main herdsire and is an American Purebred Kiko buck. Celsius is something to look and has what we are looking for and more. His genetics are matched with performance. It is true when people tell you, your buck is the biggest investment to your herd. We cannot wait to see him in action this fall and look forward to his kids hitting the ground in 2025.
